Lucas is an Industrial Designer and graduate of The California College of the Arts with a background in environmental science. He currently works as an Experience Designer in the Interaction and Experience Research Lab at Intel, investigating the future of technology. In his professional and personal design work he is driven to explore the line between design and invention, and is especially interested in the mechanical “aesthetics of kinetics.”
Alyssa is a Visual Arts Teacher, Artist and graduate of Hampshire College, Amherst, MA. Her work in arts education includes pioneering a Healing Arts Program in Thailand for children tsunami survivors, and running the Creative Arts Program at Glide in San Francisco. She has taught art to over 700 students in the Portland, OR and California public school systems. She is fascinated with the connection between science and the arts and is committed to bringing artistic expression to communities in need.
